In this Museum Xtra, join our Conservation Department to explore the campus wetland and riverfront as we uncover how the patterns, colors, textures, and shapes we admire in nature can also serve as valuable scientific clues. 
Together, we'll learn to see the natural world through the eyes of both an artist and a scientist, revealing the stories hidden within tree rings, native wildflowers, freshwater mussel shells, and the landscapes around us.
