Please click "Other dates" to schedule a different day and enter the quantity of 1 when reserving your date. The price is per encounter, and does not change based on the number of guests in your party - up to 6 individuals. The price does not include general admission tickets.
Availability and Accessibility:
Octopus encounters are offered once daily at 2 PM. The experience is 30 minutes in length and does not require general admission. Encounters include space for up to six individuals. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance, and the encounter can be purchased online or at the box office.
The encounter is not wheelchair accessible and guests must be able to climb a short set of steps. Children must be six years of age or older, and those 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: Shellfish exposure possible. Please notify the tour guide if you have a shellfish allergy.
While the River Museum offers special experiences, like all of our creatures, octopuses are wild animals. During this program, we request certain behaviors from our octopus but cannot guarantee they will be willing to participate. Your understanding is appreciated.
